Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM (as any other Parent Council meeting) where election of new class reps for Primaries 1, 2 and 3 will take place. There will be reports on the last year from the Head Teacher, Chair, Treasurer and Fundraising Committee as well as updates on the garden and Music club.
Tuesday 4th September from 9pm, Cottiers Bar, Hyndland Street
The Parent Council’s Fundraising Committee organises several social events throughout the school year in order to get everyone together, make friends and collect funds to help the school.
The Fundraising Team currently needs more volunteers to help with the events! If you would like to give us a hand and support the school at the same time, please contact Marie Tate.
The team meets at 9pm at Cottiers on the first Tuesday of the month. Come along! Any help or input, big or small, is very welcome!
Sam Murray is our new parent volunteer Uniform Coordinator. Sam will be coordinating the next order for uniform which will be placed at the end of August. If you need to put in an order you can download the order form from the School Uniform page of the website or collect a form from the school office.
Make sure you include the correct money or cheque along with your child’s name and class marked clearly on the form and the envelope and place it in the Parent Council box next to the school office.
The next order after that will be at the end of October so don’t miss the 30th August deadline!
Our thanks go to Audur Gudmundsdottir who has worked so hard as our parent volunteer Uniform Coordinator over the last few years. She will continue to lend Sam a hand.
Music Club and Ensemble will start on Monday 3rd September.
Mini Music Club (for P2s) will start after October break, Mondays 3.20-4.00pm. A letter will go out in school bags in mid September.
